KIRAN Society Livelihood is a social development initiative of KIRAN Society, Varanasi, dedicated to creating inclusive livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities. Through skill training, handcrafted production, and market-linked employment, we help individuals transform their abilities into sustainable income and self-reliance.

Our mission is to promote economic independence and social inclusion by enabling dignified livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities. We strive to build skills, create fair work environments, and connect talent with markets—ensuring every individual has the opportunity to earn, grow, and thrive.

Founder

Sangeeta Judith Keller

“A Ray of Hope” chronicles Sangeeta Judith Keller’s transformative journey from Switzerland to India in 1972. Following a lifelong calling, she dedicated herself to serving leprosy patients and eventually founded KIRAN, a center for children with disabilities.
Her story is a powerful testament to faith and service, illustrating how one woman’s commitment to compassion created a lasting legacy of dignity and belonging for the marginalized.
